Remote Area
In 2022, we decided it was time for a new frontier and began opening up a pristine new area.
We scouted this terrain years ago, though uncharted lines still await us. The region offers an exceptional mix of tree skiing, open bowls, and legendary snow depth. Our logistics are highly
adaptable: on stormy days, we ride directly from the hut door, and on good weather days, we head up to 2,600 meters.
Make no mistake—Project X is a raw adventure. The location is deeply remote, the access is tough, and the accommodation is strictly backcountry-basic. It is essential that anyone booking

As our unique concept inevitably attracts outside followers, we have increased our capacity to four groups last winter. This strategy contributed to us being alone in this high valley again last
winter. and move allows us to prioritize our core community of experienced freeriders.
Accommodation
Our Project X basecamp began in 2022 with a double cabin built below the tree line, offering an open yet wind- and avalanche-safe setting. In the summer of 2025, we added a temporary cabin in a
beautiful forest clearing.
These rustic cabins offer a cozy living and dining space. The bedrooms feature bunk beds for two to four riders, hosting a total of four groups across the property. Although the layout is basic
and shares a limited number of bathrooms (each with a shower, toilet, and sink), we ensure a welcoming level of comfort, including an outdoor sauna cabin.
Project X is a return to our roots—it's all about the powder skiing.
Alignment
Deep in the backcountry, adventure and unpredictability go hand in hand. To get the most out of this trip, riders should be familiar with the logistics of regions like the Balkans or Central Asia and come prepared for unexpected challenges. This flexibility applies to both the journey to the destination and the stay at the cabins. On the mountain, a strong foundation of backcountry experience is essential, ensuring every rider can confidently adapt to a diverse mix of wilderness conditions.

Itinerary
- Saturday: independent arrival.
- Sunday: Pick up in Batumi around lunchtime and transfer to the accommodation.
- Monday: safety-meeting, catskiing in the new area.
- Tuesday to Friday: Catskiing according to weather and snow conditions.
- Saturday: Catskiing and Departure after lunch - Transfer to Batumi.
- Sunday: independent departure.
