In 2022, we decided to unlock another untouched freeride paradise. Having scouted this terrain years ago, we knew it held incredible potential. Today, it offers an exceptional mix of pristine tree skiing, wide open alpine bowls, and legendary snow volumes. To protect this hidden gem from crowds and copycats, we intentionally keep it off the beaten path.
This unmatched exclusivity comes with an authentic adventure: a demanding journey, a truly remote setting, and very rustic, basic cabin life. It is a rewarding challenge for those seeking the ultimate, unspoiled powder experience.
As our unique concept inevitably attracts outside followers, we have increased our capacity to four groups last winter. This strategy contributed to us being alone in this high valley again last winter. and move allows us to prioritize our core community of experienced freeriders.
Make no mistake—Project X is a raw adventure. The location is deeply remote, the access is tough, and the accommodation is strictly backcountry-basic. It is essential that anyone booking Project X is fully aware of these conditions.

Deep in the backcountry, adventure and unpredictability go hand in hand. To get the most out of this trip, riders should be familiar with the logistics of regions like the Balkans or Central Asia and come prepared for unexpected challenges. This flexibility applies to both the journey to the destination and the stay at the cabins. On the mountain, a strong foundation of backcountry experience is essential, ensuring every rider can confidently adapt to a diverse mix of wilderness conditions.
