Hotels & Guesthouses

In Bakhmaro, we now operate five of our own properties under year-round management to guarantee an uncompromised standard of quality in both our rooms and our cuisine. This portfolio includes three hotels—The Stars, The Pioneers, and Riders Lodge—each accommodating two groups, alongside two guesthouses, Chalet and Bakhmaro Base, which are exclusively reserved for a single group each. In keeping with our core philosophy, there are no televisions in any of the rooms, not even in our hotels, and Wi-Fi is generally limited to the common areas. Our goal is to intentionally create spaces for social interaction rather than encouraging guests to stay isolated in their rooms. While we may occasionally rent additional guesthouses to meet demand, the standard of these outsourced properties is usually lower. Every property operates completely self-sufficiently, backed by an on-site team of chefs, housekeeping staff, and infrastructure managers who ensure the smooth running of heating, water, and electricity. Consequently, both breakfast and dinner are served directly within each house, where our guides and snowcat drivers typically stay as well, fostering a close-knit community atmosphere.

Stars by PIONEERS

Launched in 2026, our brand-new Bakhmaro hotel was custom-built for winter adventures and international freeriders. Offering 11 private en-suite rooms, the hotel serves as an exclusive winter basecamp for our mixed groups. Mixed groups means that we take bookings from individual riders and match them to groups of around 10 riders. This way we have a very open atmosphere in the house with everyone meeting new people. 

 

After a day on the slopes, relax on the ground floor in our cozy fireplace lounge, grab a drink at the bar, or enjoy a meal in the spacious restaurant with two big tables for both groups. Expansive panoramic windows frame stunning views of the mountain range surrounding Bakhmaro.

 

Situated high above the river, the property boasts stunning panoramic views of Bakhmaro and the surrounding mountains. Most importantly, its elevated position ensures a completely safe environment, even during periods of high avalanche risk.

 

Recharge in the basement wellness area, featuring a sauna and a relaxation room with mountain views. For fitness enthusiasts, the gym provides everything needed for stretching or a quick workout. In the ski room, you will find ample space for your gear, along with boot dryers to ensure your boots are warm and dry every morning.

The PIONEERS

After many years we were able to buy a small piece of land in 2020 and were able to build our own hotel. It is one of the few legal buildings in Bakhmaro.

The house has a very modern design in order to keep up with Bakhmaro's rapid development in the future. In addition, there is a nice contrast to our simple alpine huts in Adjara. During construction we tried to find a mixture of local expertise and modern building materials. The house was made from hemp stones that stored CO2. It has central heating fueled by local wood and nutshell briquettes.

The PIONEERS has space for two groups of 8-12 freeriders each. The 10 rooms are divided into twin rooms, double rooms and triple rooms and each has its own bathroom. In addition, each room has a balcony. The rooms can also be booked as single rooms. On the ground floor there is the lounge with an open fireplace and the dining room. In the basement is a sauna with relaxation room and a mini-gym for stretching. A heated ski and ski-boot room is ensuring dry boots in the morning.

 

Mostly, we are using The PIONEERS for repeating private groups.


The surcharge for a single room is € 500,- per person.

Riders Lodge by PIONEERS

Situated adjacent to The Pioneers, Riders Lodge bridges the gap between a cozy guesthouse and hotel comfort. We welcomed our very first freeriders here during the winter of 2023/24 and fully completed the lodge's construction in the summer of 2024.

 

This solid wooden chalet features six twin bedrooms and two triple rooms, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms. Additionally, the rooftop unit includes one twin and one triple bedroom sharing a bathroom. In total, the ten comfortable rooms are specifically tailored to the needs of freeriders and all feature private balconies, with the house typically hosting two groups in parallel.

 

The entrance area is equipped with a dedicated ski depot and an efficient boot-drying system to keep your gear ready. Outside, guests can unwind in a private sauna or enjoy the hot tub shared with The Pioneers.

 

For the upcoming winter season, we will be utilizing Riders Lodge primarily for private groups.

Bakhmaro Chalet

n 2026, we purchased and completely renovated a new guesthouse, adding private bathrooms to every single bedroom. The property now features five comfortable bedrooms that can accommodate two to three riders each, all fully serviced by central heating.

 

On the second floor, a cozy lounge awaits with a traditional Swedish stove, while the first floor houses a small dining room and a kitchen. The entrance area is equipped with a functional ski room and an integrated boot-heating system to ensure dry, warm boots every morning.

 

Outside, guests can unwind in a private sauna hut located right in front of the house.

 

Situated in the eastern part of Bakhmaro, the chalet enjoys a stunning view over the entire resort alongside plenty of sunshine throughout the afternoon and evening. Best of all, you can ski down from Chedrekili right to the front door, making it the perfect basecamp for private groups of 10 to 12 riders, as well as a budget-friendly alternative to The Stars for mixed groups.

Nestled in the eastern sector of the resort, Bakhmaro Base is a cozy guesthouse offering convenient ski-in access directly from both Chedrekili and Buksieti.

 

The property is intelligently configured into three separate living units. On the second floor, you will find one room equipped with three bunk beds and its own private bathroom, alongside a second triple bunk room that shares a bathroom with our guiding crew. The third floor features a layout of two rooms with two single beds each, sharing a communal bathroom.

 

The ground floor serves as the social heart of the house, featuring a combined dining and living area complete with a traditional closed stove, where our culinary team freshly bakes homemade bread and authentic khachapuri. To ensure your gear stays in top condition, the entrance area provides ample space for skis and includes an efficient boot-drying system. Step outside, and you will find a relaxing sauna hut located right in front of the guesthouse.
