We accept inquiries all year round and are happy to place your name on our waiting list if a trip is fully booked. Returning freeriders have the exclusive opportunity to rebook until April, after which we open bookings to new guests.
Typically, we receive the highest volume of reservations during April and May, so we highly recommend booking early, particularly for the peak season from late January to early March. In September, we promote any remaining capacity through our newsletter, while from October onward, we generally only receive a few last-minute inquiries. Please note that we never offer discounts or reduced last-minute prices under any circumstances.
Payments can be securely processed via bank transfer to our Swiss bank accounts, accepted in either Euros or Swiss Francs. Additionally, through our partnership with Flywire, we are also pleased to accept all major credit card payments for your convenience.

For a safe expedition, maintaining a strategic safety reserve is essential. We operate in completely undeveloped terrain and are entirely self-reliant on-site. Experience shows that less experienced or physically weaker participants are statistically more susceptible to injuries. Therefore, a cautious and prepared approach is mandatory for all operations.
Please note that avalanche airbags are strictly mandatory for this trip. We offer a selection of top-tier avalanche safety equipment for rent on-site, but timely gear reservations are required to ensure smooth logistics and proper preparation.
We always strive to assemble completely homogeneous groups, and we kindly ask for your honesty when defining your main interests and riding ability. Please do not overestimate your skills, especially if your backcountry experience is still limited. To ride safely in a remote and undeveloped region like the Lesser Caucasus, freeriders must possess advanced skills to confidently handle all snow conditions, including heavy crust and wet snow. Additionally, you need the physical strength to hike out of deep river beds, dig yourself out of deep powder, and the unwavering confidence to navigate the occasional fast or steep slopes.
To help us build teams that match as closely as possible, we have defined four distinct profiles.

Our first level consists of freeriders who have limited experience traveling for deep powder and have never participated in formal snow safety or avalanche training.

The second group includes freeriders who ride confidently across any terrain, have completed multiple freeride trips before, and possess a solid foundation of basic snow safety experience.

The third category is tailored for sporty riders who head out on powder trips on a regular basis and are looking for maximum riding time with minimal waiting.

Our fourth and highest level is reserved for riders with extensive cat-skiing or heli-skiing experience, true experts, and industry professionals such as certified ski and snowboard instructors.
Our project X is still not fully developed. We expect freeriders who have a lot of experience and ideally always have skins with them. Advanced & Expert are the types to consider for project X.

We always strive to keep our availability overview as up to date as possible. Please note, however, that because bookings are usually made by small groups, our reservation status can change very rapidly. Occasionally, a group may grow in size and move to a separate lodge, which can unexpectedly free up spaces in their original house.
A "waiting list" status indicates that we hold unconfirmed bookings for that specific week which might still be canceled. Furthermore, teams sometimes decide to switch their destination between Bakhmaro and Adjara, causing previously filled spots or entire weeks to become available again.
Even when a week is marked as "fully booked," it simply means the dates are officially locked in, but late withdrawals are still possible, meaning spaces can always reopen.

For our new project it is best to fly to Batumi (BUS). We pick up at a certain hotel in the city on Sunday. Batumi lies direcly at the shore of the Black Sea. It is also an interesting place to spend a night and party.
The low-cost carrier, Wizzair, connects Kutaisi (KUT) with different European cities. However, the airport transfer takes 2 hours to Batumi. Although there have been repeated problems with airbags and cartridges, we still recommend these direct flights. The likelihood of lost baggage and delayed or cancelled flights because of winter conditions are lower on direct flights.
The airport of Tbilisi (TBS) is far - 6 hours by car - to Batumi. A private transfer costs from 240,-€ one way. We can arrange it, but cash payment must be made to the driver directly, each way.

For our project X it is best to fly to Batumi (BUS). We pick up in Batumi around lunchtime on Sunday. After the week we will be back in Batumi on Saturday evening. Until now, it
was possible to check in ski equipment as part of the included baggage allowance without any extra charge. Please check their webpage.
Turkish offers flights with a stopover in Istanbul. We cannot recommend the low-cost carrier Pegasus. Due to weather and snow conditions as well as the danger of avalanches, a transfer to the hut
may not be possible. The same goes for the return trip. In this situation we would organise an accommodation in the valley. We only cover the costs for an external overnight stay if we deem it
necessary.
For your stay in Batumi, we highly recommend the Tapis Rouge Hotel, which features comfortable twin rooms and a top-floor breakfast room boasting beautiful views of the Black Sea. The scenic waterfront promenade is just a few minutes away, and the historic old town can easily be explored on foot directly from the property. To ensure a smooth journey and avoid time-consuming pick-up procedures upon arrival, our collective transfers to Bakhmaro operate exclusively from this hotel, with departures scheduled for the early afternoon. While you are in town, we have a few curated dining recommendations nearby. We definitely suggest visiting Lumi for an exceptional rooftop dining experience with a great view, or Bern, which is located just across the street. Another excellent choice is the Town Grill, situated diagonally opposite the hotel, although it is a bit more expensive.
