There has been little snowfall in the last few weeks. At the same time the temperatures were quite high. Yesterday and during the night there was another 5 cm of snow, but most of it melted away
again in Bakhmaro during the day.
On the north facing side the snow cover is closed. There are always gaping holes in the snow cover on the south facing side. Above the tree line it has a base of a good one meter with some,
albeit rather weakly developed layers. Overall, the situation is stable and we have given the safety situation a 1.
We have the first group on site since yesterday. A start with thick clouds that lead to a short day, going to The PIONEERS at lunchtime due to an absolute whiteout. The group was compensated
today with blue skies, some fresh snow and a magnificent panorama.
Buksieti has been tracked in yesterday and today Baisura was tracked in. Tomorrow we're going to Sarkornia. It is too warm for low altitudes, but from the weekend onwards it will get colder and
there will be more snow.
All pics from this week.
We have 3 splitboards from Nitro for rent and 4 powderboards from Jones. The boards can be rented weekly or for a day.
The splitboards are available in lengths 159, 162 and 164 and come with skins, crampons and poles.
For powderboards we have the Mind Expander in 158 & 166 and the Storm Chaser in 152 & 157 from Jones.
During the season we send out a link to this snow report every week to inform you as a freerider about the snow conditions and the course of the season, to give tips for your tour and to introduce the team. Of course we also want to increase the anticipation. If you no longer wish to receive the link, you can unsubscribe from the snow report at any time. With the end of the season we also stop the weekly snow report.
